Seattle’s Dust Moth (ex-These Arms Are Snakes) have announced the release of their debut full-length record and follow-up to their acclaimed 2014 EP, Dragon Mouth. The new record will be titled Scale and will see a release through The Mylene Sheath on July 22. The album was recorded by Matt Bayles (Pearl Jam, ISIS, Mastodon) at Red Room Studio in Seattle and mastered by Ed Brooks at RFI. The album’s artwork and track listing can be seen after the break.
A new track from their record, titled “Lift”, was recently premiered by NPR. The nearly eight-minute tune conjures slow-burning, muscular guitars and anthemic melodies that propelled by Irene Barber’s commanding vocals. Check it out after the break.
