Australian death metal quartet Sewercide have released a new track from their upcoming debut LP, Immortalized in Suffering, which is due out on June 13 via Unspeakable Axe Records. Tilted “Snares of Carnality”, the new track delivers five minutes of grinding, torturous riffs, pulverizing drumming and nauseating vocals. It’s gore-splattered death metal at its finest. Check it out after the break along with the band’s upcoming tour dates.
Seattle death metal act Hissing have premiered their forthcoming self-titled 7″ at Noisey. The two-track release will officially be unleashed on June 10 via Southern Lord Records and can be purchased here. These two tracks are characterized by a dark and murky production and malevolent death metal instrumentation that pummels like Autopsy, and writhes and churns like Portal. Check it out in full here.
Cattle Decapitation have premiered the gruesome, NSFW video for their track “Clandestine Ways (Krokodil Rot)” at Bloody Disgusting. Taken from the group’s 2015 album The Anthropocene Extinction, the track is set to wonderfully violent video (directed by Mitch Massie) full of gore, torture and human experimentation. Vocalist Travis Ryan comments:
“Mitch Massie once again hurls us into a nightmarish world of the eye-for-an-eye table turning that Cattle Decapitation lyrics exude, but this time in a much more surreal manner. Here we see the circus has come to town and with it a grisly ‘freaks’ exhibit featuring the barbaric aftermath of what the protagonists (the ‘Ringmaster’ and a freed ‘specimen’) have done to the leading researchers at Cosmeugenics Laboratories – a place where Cosmetics testing is performed on earthen creatures all in the name of Human vanity – but this time by completely incorrectly administering the clandestine, flesh-eating drug ‘krokodil’. I’ll leave out the horrific details as you’ll have to see that for yourself!”

Critically-heralded death metal outfit Gruesome have premiered their new EP, Dimensions of Horror, at Noisey. The EP is officially out today via Relapse Records and can be purchased here. This EP features six malevolent, old school death metal hymns that worship at the altar of Death. If that piques your interest, check it out in full here.
Two of the more celebrated acts in progressive metal, Between the Buried and Me and Devin Townsend Project, have announced a fall North American co-headlining tour. Titled the “Transcending the Coma” tour, the new trek will span from September 9 through October 15 and will feature atmospheric tech metallers Fallujah as the opening act. BTBAM is slated to perform their most recent effort, 2015’s Coma Ecliptic, in its entirety on this tour. Check out the full touring schedule after the break.
Nails have premiered the official video to their new track, “Savage Intolerance”, over at Rolling Stone. The unforgivably heavy skull-crusher, which is culled from the group’s impending You Will Never Be One of Us LP, is set to a collection of clips depicting death, war and violence. Guitarist/vocalist Todd Jones commented on the track:
“I wanted to make something lyrically that matched the intensity of the music,…I can’t go online or turn on the TV or listen to talk radio these days without hearing something that’s going down with ISIS – these people are just totally intolerant about anything and everything that’s going on around them, and they just don’t give a fuck, and I think that’s total bullshit. I believe in peace; I think people should live in peace. But the fact is, that’s what’s going on, so we wrote a song about it.”
Check out the video after the break.
You Will Never Be One of Us will be released on June 17 via Nuclear Blast.
